Prof Swaminathan

Professor MS Swaminathan is the Chairman Emeritus of our Board and also a member of the Indian Parliament, an Honorary Chairman of the FAO Council, and the Chairman of the National Commission on Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Security. Professor MS Swaminathan has also received the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Gold Medal for biotechnology, which has been a great help to poverty-stricken populations in developing countries.
