In India, we are one of the few NGOs focusing specifically on maternal and child health with various nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions. Our teams engage with communities in remote and hard-to-reach areas, identifying and addressing nutritional challenges in children. We empower mothers and families with knowledge and awareness so they can see their children grow up strong and for whole communities to prosper.

We operate in 1,272 villages in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but does not limit to:

Project Management - Ensure end-to-end project management and implementation of malnutrition and health & nutrition activities
- Provide strategic direction, support, and training to internal staff and frontline health workers
- Set clear objectives and indicators for activities in collaboration with staff
Staff Management- Provide regular statistical and narrative reports on the project
- Facilitate regular meetings for information sharing and feedback
- Maintain transparent and supportive communication structures with the assigned team
- Assess training needs of staff and ensure appropriate training is conducted
Financial Management - Manage assigned project budgets and ensure expenses are in accordance with standard protocols
- Ensure effective utilization of project budgets and review budget and funds utilization reports
Logistics - Manage logistics and financial aspects of the project, including developing skills of partner staff
- Coordinate internal and external trainings for project staff and frontline workers
Reports and Data Management - Monitor and assess field data, compiling reports for project stakeholders
- Review data extracted from CommCare platform for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reports
Proposal Development - Develop concept notes, proposals, and budgets for existing and prospective donors
Quality Management - Ensure project activities align with donor proposals, requirements, and organizational protocols
- Ensure reports, data collection, and management are accurate, timely, and adhere to data quality standards

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Graduate degree in Accounting or Commerce
Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative roles with a preference for candidates from NGO backgrounds

Administrative Operations: Coordinate and manage logistics, transportation, storage, and supply chain

Administrative Skills: Strong document management, records keeping, and compliance skills

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Problem-Solving Ability: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Financial Management: Basic knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, accounting, and procurement

Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
