In India, we are one of the few NGOs focusing specifically on maternal and child health
with various nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions. Our teams engage
with communities in remote and hard-to-reach areas, identifying and addressing
nutritional challenges in children. We empower mothers and families with knowledge
and awareness so they can see their children grow up strong and for whole communities
to prosper.

We operate in 1,272 villages in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but does not limit to:  

  • Manage databases to store evaluation systems and analyze data
  • Conduct data quality assurance to ensure data accuracy & reliability
  • Enhance team capability by providing evidence driven training to the project staff on monitoring & evaluation methods & tools & its use
  • Develop & implement monitoring & evaluation plans & frameworks
  • Support in Designing surveys, assessments, & evaluations
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate monitoring & evaluation findings into project implementation
  • Ensure compliance with donor & organizational monitoring & evaluation requirements
  • Conduct data analysis, identify & share data driven insights, develop dashboards and share with Technical & Research team
  • Stay up to date with monitoring & evaluation methodologies & tools to ensure best practices are applied
  • As per the decided time frame the DMEO must store 100% of data in accordance with established protocols, ensuring ethical standards, compliance, and participant privacy
  • Maintain high quality of data by conducting back-checks and spot-checks of data

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree from UGC recognized University in one of the disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Population sciences, Rural Development & Management with exceptional academic performance
  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in leading research, monitoring, and evaluation aspects of large- scale projects or programs, well verse with MS Office, quantitative data analysis tools like SPSS, Stata, and Qualitative data analysis tools like NVivo, Atlas

COMPETENCIES

Analytical Skills:Strong quantitative ability

Language Proficiency:Proficiency in Gujarati, English, Hindi, and local languages

Communication Skills:Excellent communication skills

Technical:Basic knowledge of Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH), and research principles

Problem-Solving:Agile problem-solving and innovative thinking

Digital Proficiency:Proficiency: Ability to work with data capture tools (CommCare, SurveyCTO, KOBO Toolbox, etc.)
