Roshni is a seasoned Public Health Nutritionist and the Head of Technical, Research, and MEAL at Action Against Hunger India. With a Ph.D. in Public Health Nutrition and 15 years of expertise in maternal, adolescent and child health, she is a specialist in designing, implementing, and evaluating multi-sectoral programs. Dr. Vakilna’s research acumen spans both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. She champions transformative approaches in health technology, integrating evidence-based innovations to address malnutrition and improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations. She has extensively contributed to pediatric and maternal nutrition by driving social and behavior change initiatives and strengthening health systems. Her work has garnered numerous accolades, including a prestigious scholarship from WHO, recognition from the Assam Government for her contributions to disaster risk reduction frameworks, the INSC Research Excellence Award 2023, and several other honors from esteemed organizations.
